Lebanese Army: Ready to complete deployment in the area south of the Litani River at any time

On January 22, the Lebanese army issued a statement stating that as part of its efforts to continue implementing the terms of the Lebanon Israel ceasefire agreement, the Lebanese army is ready to complete its deployment in the area south of the Litani River once the Israeli army withdraws. The Lebanese army will continue to work hard to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 and its provisions. The statement pointed out that after the Israeli army withdrew, military units have completed their deployment in several locations in the town of Hasbaya Kafar Shuba in the eastern region. This is coordinated with the Mechanism Committee for Monitoring the ceasefire agreement and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (Lebanon).
