On January 18th, UN Secretary General Guterres met with Lebanese Parliament Speaker Berri. Guterres stated that the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (Lebanon) is working closely with the Lebanese Armed Forces in the south, with the clear goal that Israel must withdraw from southern Lebanon in accordance with the provisions of the Lebanon Israel ceasefire agreement, and the Lebanese Armed Forces will be able to station throughout Lebanon.
