On January 18th, Andrei Kostin, the President of the Russian Foreign Trade Bank, stated that the bank plans to open an official branch in Iran by the end of 2025. Koskin also pointed out that currently, the Russian Foreign Trade Bank only has a representative office in Iran set to open in 2023, and he stated that the representative office will be transformed into an official bank.
