On January 18th, due to extreme cold weather in Washington D.C., the inauguration ceremony of President Trump scheduled for January 20th will be moved indoors. Later that day, US President elect Trump confirmed the news on his social media platform “Real Social”. Trump said, “I have ordered the inauguration speech, prayers, and other speeches to be held in the circular hall of the United States Capitol.” Trump added, “We will open the First Capital Arena on the 20th for live streaming of this historic event and the presidential inauguration parade. I will join the rally at the First Capital Arena after taking the oath of office.” It is reported that the last time a US president was sworn in indoors was in 1985, when President Reagan took the oath in the circular hall of the Capitol due to severe cold weather and canceled the inauguration parade.
