On January 12th, the Gaza Strip media office announced that the Israeli military has resumed ground operations in the northern provinces of the Gaza Strip for 100 days, resulting in 5000 deaths and disappearances, 9500 injuries, and 2600 arrests. The Gaza Strip Media Office strongly condemns the Israeli military’s ongoing “aggression” against the northern Gaza Strip and all provinces of the Gaza Strip, and calls on the international community, international organizations, and United Nations organizations to intervene urgently, take immediate action, and urge Israel to cease its genocide. In October 2024, the Israel Defense Forces resumed ground military operations in some areas of the Gaza Strip, causing a large number of casualties.
