Affected by heavy rainfall, 338 districts across Peru have entered a state of emergency

On January 11th, local time, due to the threat of heavy rainfall, the Peruvian government declared a state of emergency in 338 districts across the country. According to the highest law, this measure applies to multiple regions such as the Amazon, Lima, and Ica, aiming to accelerate the implementation of prevention and emergency intervention measures to ensure the safety of people’s lives and property.
