US Department of Defense: Over 600 National Guard members participate in Los Angeles wildfire rescue efforts

On January 11th, Sabrina Singh, Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of Defense, stated at a briefing on January 10th that over 600 California National Guard members have participated in the Los Angeles wildfire rescue operation, and it is expected that the number of rescue personnel will further increase. Currently, 8 aircraft equipped with aerial fire suppression systems are ready for operation, and 500 active duty Marines are ready to provide road clearance, material distribution, search and rescue, transportation, and comprehensive support as needed. Another 10 naval helicopters are also ready to provide assistance.
