On January 3rd, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released the China Warehousing Index for December 2024. The index shows that the volume of warehousing business continues to grow, facility utilization rate improves, and commodity turnover remains active. Overall, the quarterly average of China’s warehousing index in 2024 is 49.4%, 48.6%, 48.8%, and 50.8%, respectively. In the fourth quarter, a package of incremental policies effectively drove up enterprise expectations, rapidly released warehousing demand, and significantly stimulated business. Inventory continued to rise, and the industry showed a trend of recovery and improvement.
