On January 2nd, the competent ministerial committee composed of the Palestinian government’s Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Interior, and Ministry of Communications decided on the evening of January 1st local time to suspend the broadcasting of Qatar Al Jazeera satellite channel in Palestine and suspend all work of the television station in its Palestinian office. It is reported that the content and reports broadcasted by Al Jazeera are misleading and violate the current laws and regulations of Palestine. Therefore, the Palestinian government has made this decision.
