Putin: Russia and North Korea will be more united in addressing threats and challenges by 2025

On December 27th, according to the Korean Central News Agency, Russian President Putin extended New Year’s greetings to Kim Jong un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and State Councilor of North Korea, and stated that his meeting with Kim Jong un in Pyongyang in June this year has taken Russia North Korea relations to a new level. The signing of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between Russia and North Korea based on the results of the talks has created conditions for fundamentally expanding mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in all major areas between Russia and North Korea. I believe that in the upcoming year of 2025, Russia and North Korea will closely fulfill this historic treaty and respond more consistently to the threats and challenges of today’s era.
