The meeting of central enterprise leaders held on December 23-24 proposed in deploying key tasks for 2025 that state-owned and central enterprises should effectively improve the quality and efficiency of development, with particular emphasis on “establishing a scientific market value management concept and better maintaining the stability of the capital market”. Zhou Lisha, a researcher at the China Enterprise Reform Research Association, stated in an interview that the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council not only emphasized the concept of market value management at the Central Enterprise Leaders’ Meeting, but also further proposed better maintenance of capital market stability, reflecting the important role of central enterprises in maintaining economic and financial stability. In the future, it is expected that central enterprises will increase their efforts in market value management, information disclosure, investor returns, and market stability mechanisms. According to data, based on the implementation announcement date, a total of 468 listed companies controlled by central enterprises have announced their dividend implementation since the beginning of this year, involving cash dividends of 1174.5 billion yuan.
