On December 25th, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East stated in a statement that according to data from the United Nations Children’s Fund, more than 10000 children have died in the Gaza Strip since the outbreak of the current Israeli Palestinian conflict, equivalent to one child dying every hour. Apart from the threat to their lives, the surviving children in Gaza are also deprived of the opportunity to learn and can only struggle to survive in the ruins. The physical and mental health of Gaza’s children has been severely damaged. The statement states that the surviving children in the Gaza Strip are losing their lives, future, and hope.
