On the evening of December 24th local time, the Israeli Defense Forces announced in a statement that they had previously deployed fighter jets to destroy a Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) rocket launch site in the northern Gaza Strip. The launch site is located near a United Nations building in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City. The statement stated that the attack was carried out after calling for the evacuation of civilians in the area. The attack video footage shows that after the attack, a rocket was launched from the explosion site. At present, Hamas has not responded to this.
