On December 24th, reporters found through multiple interviews that as of now, nearly a hundred companies around the world are accelerating their layout of the solid-state battery track, widely distributed in multiple countries and regions such as Canada, the United States, the European Union, and China, and the embryonic form of the solid-state battery industry chain is emerging. However, the solid-state batteries currently being industrialized are all semi-solid state batteries, which still contain less than 10% liquid electrolyte instead of 100% all solid state electrolyte. Therefore, their battery safety, energy density, and service life cannot be fully comparable to all solid state batteries. The industrialization of all solid state batteries still faces multiple challenges such as cost and technology, and it is expected that mass production will not be possible until 2035.
