Emerging market bond ETF experiences its largest capital outflow since March

On December 24th, data showed that the iShares Anshuo Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Bond Index ETF (EMB) experienced a $614 million outflow last week, the largest weekly outflow since March. Although the Federal Reserve announced a rate cut as scheduled at the FOMC monetary policy meeting on December 17-18, the Summary of Economic Expectations (SEP) dot plot shows that the FOMC is cautious about the prospect of a rate cut.
