On December 24th, Blizzard affected multiple countries in the Balkan Peninsula, causing power outages and transportation disruptions in some areas. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, nearly 200000 households were affected by power outages caused by blizzards. The government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has announced the closure of schools in the northwest region of the country, and heavy vehicles such as trucks are restricted from driving on the roads.
