Singapore, October 22 (Xinhua) — The Singapore Chamber of Commerce (Chamber of Commerce) recently announced that it will lead a delegation to participate in the 7th China International Import Expo under the theme of “Singapore China Cooperation, High Quality Peers”, inviting nearly 400 representatives from 44 Singaporean companies to attend the exhibition.
According to the Federation, Singaporean companies’ business in China has remained stable, especially with China’s continuous introduction of various measures to stimulate the economy and attract foreign investment, which has further stimulated the enthusiasm of Singaporean companies to participate in the CIIE. This institution stated that the CIIE is a crucial diversified trade platform, providing not only opportunities for Singaporean companies to conduct business, but also helping them penetrate their target markets and further expand business opportunities in China.
Guo Bingxun, Executive President of the Federation, stated that the CIIE is an important platform for Singaporean companies to expand into the Chinese market. The Federation will fully support Singaporean companies in expanding their business in China, promoting innovation, and achieving sustainable growth.
It is reported that among the participating companies organized by the Federation, 70% of them are repeat visitors with multiple exhibition experiences, and 30% are first-time exhibitors. At this year’s CIIE, the Singapore Pavilion covers an area of over 900 square meters and features three major exhibition areas: consumer goods, food and agricultural products, and service trade. In addition, during the 7th CIIE, the Federation also plans to hold the New China Economic, Trade and Investment Forum in Shanghai.
The 7th CIIE will be held in Shanghai from November 5th to 10th this year.
