Chinese enterprises independently develop high-end petroleum equipment to achieve large-scale application in Uganda

On August 22nd, at the Cuiniao Oilfield project site in western Uganda, staff from China and Uganda conducted measurements on the “Xuanji” system tool.

The “Xuanji” system, independently developed by China, has successfully completed drilling operations for 10 oil wells in the Cuiniao Oilfield in western Uganda, achieving a cumulative total footage of over 30000 meters and a total downhole operation time of over 5000 hours. This marks a new breakthrough in the large-scale operation capability of China’s modern high-end oil and gas equipment.
