EU signs the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence

On September 5th local time, Hungary, the rotating presidency of the European Union, posted on social media that it had signed the Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence on behalf of the EU in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The Framework Convention on Artificial Intelligence was led by the European Commission, and after years of preparation, it was drafted by more than 50 countries over a period of two years. It was adopted in May of this year.
