On September 3rd local time, a large number of Israeli civilians gathered on the streets near the Israeli Defense Forces headquarters in Tel Aviv, blocking traffic and demanding that the government immediately reach a ceasefire and exchange of detainees agreement with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). This is the third consecutive day of protests in Tel Aviv since the Israeli Defense Forces announced on September 1st that they had discovered the bodies of six Israeli detainees in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafa.
