Cathay Pacific Airways suspends some A350 aircraft due to engine failure, supply chain issues drag down global aircraft operations and deliveries

Cathay Pacific Airways issued a statement late on the 2nd, stating that several identical engine components need to be replaced, and some A350 aircraft need to be grounded for several days for maintenance. According to the reporter’s understanding, the engine component failure occurred with Rolls Royce engines, and currently all A350 aircraft worldwide are equipped with Rolls Royce engines. The problems faced by the aircraft manufacturing supply chain since the outbreak have been continuously affecting airlines worldwide.
