The delivery ceremony for the attached materials of the Chinese aid project to improve the quality and ability of rural teachers in Laos was held

Vientiane, August 9th (Xinhua) — On August 8th, the delivery ceremony of the accompanying materials for the Chinese Aid to Laos Rural Teacher Quality and Capacity Improvement Project was held in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. China officially delivered a series of teaching materials for primary and secondary school principals and teachers in Laos.

The Minister of Education and Sports of Laos, Pu Xinmalafeng, the Executive Vice Chairman of the Laos China Cooperation Committee, Saisana Sitipong, the Chinese Ambassador to Laos, Fang Hong, and the Vice President of the Shanghai Education Press, Zhuang Xiaoming, attended the ceremony.

Pu Xinmalafeng’s speech stated that this project will help improve the overall quality of rural education in Laos, and is of great significance to the development of human resources in Laos, further deepening the unity and friendship between Laos and China.

Fang Hong stated that the textbooks and other materials delivered this time will help improve Laos’ basic education textbooks and enhance the level of basic education. China is willing to work with Laos to actively promote the high-quality development of China Laos educational cooperation in jointly building the “the Belt and Road” and enhance the understanding and friendship between the two peoples.

Zhuang Xiaoming stated that Shanghai Education Press will continue to follow up on the use of textbooks in Laos, provide follow-up services, and contribute to the development of education in Laos.

It is reported that the Chinese aid project to improve the quality and ability of rural teachers in Laos is organized and implemented by Shanghai Education Press. The textbooks delivered this time will be distributed to the education departments of various provinces and cities in Laos, becoming important reference materials for the training of principals and teachers in Laos.
