Crossing mountains and seas, connecting the world.
This year marks the fifth anniversary of the implementation of the Overall Plan for the Western Land Sea New Corridor. In August 2019, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the Overall Plan for the Western Land Sea New Corridor, elevating it to a national strategy and paving the way for a new development path.
The new channel is centered around Chongqing as its operational center, with key nodes in various western provinces, regions, and cities. It utilizes transportation methods such as railways, sea freight, and highways to reach various parts of the world through coastal and border ports such as Guangxi and Yunnan in the south.
In the past 5 years, the channel has accelerated and extended, constantly running at new speeds. A set of posters takes you on a quick look at the 5-year “report card”!
