On August 1st local time, Izzat Rishke, a member of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stated that confirming or denying the death of any leader of the Kassan Brigade is the responsibility of both the Kassan Brigade leadership and the Hamas leadership. Unless either party declares it, no news released by any media or other sources can confirm it.
