The “the Belt and Road” 6th Singapore International Cultural Festival Wushu Competition was successfully held

Xinhuanet, Singapore, July 30 (Reporter Cai Shuya) The 6th “the Belt and Road” Singapore International Cultural Festival Martial Arts Competition, sponsored by Singapore Youth Culture and Art Center and co organized by Singapore Martial Arts Home and Singapore International Martial Arts Cultural Exchange Center, was held in Singapore Sports School from 26 to 29.

More than 1300 people from China, Hong Kong, Germany, Belgium, Nepal, India, Oman, Myanmar and other countries and regions competed for medals in the three-day event. The Singapore International Cultural Festival Martial Arts Competition has been held every two years since 2013, with participation from over 60 countries and regions.

This year’s International Cultural Festival Martial Arts Competition has added exhibitions of contemporary calligraphy and painting masters, exhibitions of inheritors of intangible cultural heritage projects, charity award dinners and other activities, aiming to build the cultural festival into an important platform for cross regional cultural and economic exchanges in the Asia Pacific region.

Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Cao Zhongming, Singapore’s Minister of Culture, Communities and Youth and Second Minister of Justice Tang Zhenhui, and ambassadors from multiple countries attended the International Cultural Festival Martial Arts Competition Charity Awards Dinner.
