US Supreme Court: Trump has no right to be exempt from prosecution for personal actions

On July 1st local time, the US Supreme Court issued a final ruling on former President Trump’s request for immunity from criminal prosecution. The Supreme Court of the United States has ruled that Trump may be granted immunity from criminal prosecution for actions taken at the end of his presidency, but he has no right to be exempt from prosecution for actions taken in a private capacity.
