On July 1st, the Australian government further tightened its study abroad policy and announced an increase in international student visa fees. According to the new regulations, the international student visa fee will be increased from AUD 710 to AUD 1600 starting from July 1st. In addition, holders of visitor visas and temporary graduate visas are not allowed to apply for student visas within Australia.
