On June 30th, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated at the weekly government cabinet meeting that Israel supports the ceasefire plan proposed by US President Biden on May 31st to ensure the release of detainees, and stated that “Hamas is the only obstacle to our release of hostages.”. Netanyahu also stated that Israel will use political and military means to release all Israelis currently detained in Gaza. In addition, Netanyahu reiterated that Israel will not end the current battle until all goals are achieved.
