Japanese polls show that the support rate for the Kishida Cabinet remains sluggish

According to Japanese media reports on the 19th, the latest poll results conducted by the agency across Japan on the 18th and 19th showed that the support rate for the Kishida Cabinet was 20%, a decrease of 2 percentage points from last month’s poll results. Regarding the question of whether Fumio Kishida should seek re-election and continue to serve as the Prime Minister of Japan in the Liberal Democratic Party presidential election to be held in September this year, 72% of respondents expressed their hope that Fumio Kishida would be replaced by someone else; 12% of respondents expressed their hope for Fumio Kishida’s re-election.
