90% of technology companies participated in the exhibition, over a hundred new products were launched, and the “Big Show” of the Yangtze River Delta Emergency Expo kicked off

In May, by the Huangpu River, the “four leaf clover” once again bloomed in full bloom, welcoming the first “big show” of new technologies, products, and solutions for emergency enterprises, including a hanging fixed wing drone, four-wheel drive off-road water supply and drainage vehicle, and a 65 meter long span high-altitude jet fire truck.

On May 13th, the 3rd Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo (hereinafter referred to as the “Expo”) opened at the National Convention and Exhibition Center.

The theme of this expo is “Promoting High level Security Escort and High Quality Development”, focusing on “Big Safety and Big Emergency”. There are six exhibition areas set up, including emergency disaster prevention and reduction, comprehensive rescue equipment, safety protection products, safety emergency industry services, safety science popularization experience, and coordinated development of emergency management. The exhibition covers an area of approximately 60000 square meters, and more than 500 representative enterprises in the field of national safety and emergency participated in the exhibition.

After the first two expos, the third expo has established a professional and international brand image in the industry. This year’s Expo is not only an important practice to ensure the development of new quality productive forces with high-level security, but also a concentrated display of the high-level and high-quality coordination and linkage effects of integrated emergency management in the Yangtze River Delta, as well as the experience of local characteristic work, which has been elevated to a national strategy in the past five years.

At the bustling exhibition venue, many exhibitors told reporters that from a visual experience, compared to the previous two expos, this year’s exhibition has more large-scale products, higher innovation and research and development content, and the industry clustering effect is gradually emerging.

More new technologies debut

The high value of an exhibition depends on the number of new product launches.

This year’s expo has attracted over 90% of technology-based and high-tech enterprises to participate, from key industries such as low altitude economy, intelligent manufacturing, high-end emergency rescue equipment, artificial intelligence, and new industrialization. It comprehensively showcases the development trend of new quality productivity and the latest technological achievements in the field of safety and emergency. According to preliminary statistics, nearly 100 debut shows and exhibitions have made their debut at this year’s expo.

Many of them are new products brought by first-time exhibitors, adding more highlights and explosive points to the exhibition.

For example, as one of the largest construction machinery manufacturers in China, Sany Heavy Industry has brought five special vehicles, including 65m long span lift jet fire engines, nuclear, chemical and biological detection fire engines, modular protruding equipment vehicles, forest fire prevention channel opening vehicles and PM180 foam fire engines, all of which are debut at the Expo.

NIO, as the official designated vehicle for the conference, also participated in this expo for the first time. They brought the recently launched ET7 executive version of the white body to the exhibition site, which sparked enthusiastic group photos and check-in from the audience. Since its delivery, the NIO ET7 has been used as an official vehicle for national level large-scale events multiple times. By showcasing excellent travel solutions in China’s new energy industry, NIO not only establishes a representative image of “China’s high-end manufacturing”, but also becomes the most representative “technological business card” of China’s new energy vehicles.

For the first time, many industry leaders such as COMAC, China Communications Information, Weihai Guangtai, Aerospace National Machinery, Shanhe Xinghang, Changan Automobile, and Haima Special participated in the exhibition.

More companies are old exhibitors who have participated in more than two consecutive sessions, such as China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Electronics Technology, PICC, Aerospace Era Feipeng, New Era Research Institute, etc., all of which are leading companies in the industry.

As the main force in ensuring major engineering construction and safe urban operation in Shanghai, Urban Investment Group is participating in this exhibition for the third time. The main content of the exhibition is the emergency work related to Urban Investment Water Group, highlighting the group’s use of digital technology and intelligent solutions to safeguard the safety of urban water affairs.

Xihongqiao Beidou Industrial Park and Jiangyan Development Zone, as regional key industrial bases, actively organized enterprises to make concentrated appearances and showcase their respective advantages.

Roadshow Forum Presents Deep Exchange Platform

In addition to rich exhibition content, this expo also presents various forms such as conferences, activities, and science popularization. During the exhibition, more than 30 themed activities, seminars, interactive experiences of public welfare science popularization, and enterprise roadshows will be held, providing a platform for exhibitors and visitors to have in-depth communication.

Among them, the roadshow area established for the first time became one of the most popular venues at this year’s expo. The reporter saw on site that many companies were conducting new product releases, technology roadshows, and exchanges on emergency markets, attracting many exhibitors to stop and watch.

Of particular concern is that on the morning of the 13th, the International Security Equipment and Technology Exhibition (Intersect Shanghai) jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Commission for the Promotion of International Trade and the Frankfurt Exhibition Group of Germany announced that it will be held simultaneously with the 4th Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Disaster Reduction and Rescue Expo. This means that after two years of polishing, the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo is gradually becoming an international first-class exhibition platform for the security industry.

This expo is also committed to creating a platform for cooperation and exchange between government, industry, academia, and research funding, to jointly explore cutting-edge technologies and development trends in the safety and emergency industry. 12 seminars will focus on hot topics in the safety and emergency industry, with executives from leading companies such as CETC, Huawei, Chenxin Technology, and United Aircraft sharing case speeches on site to deeply analyze the innovation trends in the industry.

The current emergencies are characterized by diversification and complexity, which puts forward more professional and regional requirements for government emergency management work. To this end, departments such as the Emergency Management Department (Bureau), Emergency Management and Safety Production Research Institute, Disaster Prevention and Reduction Center, and Emergency Management Propaganda and Education Center of the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta have focused on themes such as emergency management, disaster prevention and control, urban safety, emergency cultural construction, and fire rescue, organizing six themed activities to showcase the strongest innovation ability, most active collaborative development, and highest scientific research level in the Yangtze River Delta region.

The theme exhibition area of this year’s expo is organized by Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province for exhibition and display. The overall image area of the city is themed “Millennium Commercial Port, Happy Wenzhou”, showcasing Wenzhou’s achievements in safety production, disaster prevention, reduction and relief.

May 12th this year is the 16th National Day for Disaster Prevention and Reduction, with the theme of “Everyone talks about safety, everyone knows emergency – focusing on improving grassroots disaster prevention and avoidance capabilities”. As one of the heavyweight brand activities of the “5.12 Disaster Prevention and Reduction Propaganda Week in the Yangtze River Delta Region”, the Yangtze River Delta International Emergency Expo has set a new benchmark in the field of safety science popularization and emergency culture by setting up a safety science popularization exhibition area for three consecutive sessions, and has also made significant contributions to promoting the overall development of safety emergency culture in society.
