At the launch ceremony, 56 city level key projects and 75 city wide boutique activities were released, covering six aspects: research and publication, exhibition and exhibition, cultural and film, social education, ideological and political research, and tourism and cultural creativity.
On the afternoon of April 29th, the launching ceremony of the “Glorious City” 2024 Shanghai Red Culture Season was held in the report hall of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China Memorial Hall. Zhao Jiaming, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Minister of Propaganda, attended and launched the Red Culture Season.
The Red Culture Season will be held from May to July. At the launch ceremony, 56 key municipal projects and 75 city level boutique activities will be released, covering six aspects: research and publishing, exhibition and exhibition, cultural and film, social education, ideological and political research, and tourism and cultural creation. At the event site, two key municipal projects were launched, namely the “Great Leap – Marxism Sinicization and Modernization Cultural Relics and Historical Materials Exhibition” and the “Red Mark” Shanghai Urban Red Search Activity. The theme logo, main visual and promotional videos of the Red Culture Season were released. The site also showcased the active exploration and practice of grassroots in Shanghai in the interpretation and dissemination of red culture in recent years through rap, situational dramas, TED speeches, Shanghai dramas, recitations, and other forms.
It is reported that the relevant activity information of this red culture season will be regularly released on the Shanghai Red Culture Resource Information Application Platform “Hongtu”, and an online team appointment system will be opened. Party organizations at all levels, the general public, and young people in the city are welcome to actively participate.
